Union County provides over 24,000 acres of hunting and wildlife opportunities within the Kentucky Department of Fish & Wildlife Management Areas. With an abundance of wild game and beautiful landscapes, Union County is known to attract outdoorsmen from across the country. Lake Mauzy, located within the Higginson-Henry Wildlife Management Area, and other area lakes offer anglers a wide variety of species, including crappie, bass, catfish, and bluegill fishing. The variety of angling opportunities are sure to satisfy any fisherman.
