Sex Offender Registry

Pursuant to KRS 17.580, the Kentucky State Police provides sex offender registration information to the public to promote public safety and awareness by alerting possible victims of potential danger, not to punish or embarrass offenders.  For more information, please visit the Kentucky State Police Sex Offender Registry.

Fingerprinting for Background Checks

As of December 9, 2020, cardboard fingerprint cards for STATE background checks will no longer be accepted by the Kentucky State Police.  For more information, please visit the Kentucky State Police or call the Union County Sheriff's Office at (270) 389-1303 to see if we can assist you with the fingerprint process.
