The Earle C. Clements Job Corps Academy, located in Union County, offers career exploration and training to young adults between the ages 16 to 24. The program is administered by the United States Department of Labor, offering free education and career and technical training to qualified applicants. Our mission is to help young adults improve the quality of their lives through the various training opportunities to ensure gainful employment and career pathways through our MyPACE program.

MyPACE offers career exploration to students interested in certain career pathways. In order to qualify for the program a person must meet certain criteria related to age, income, and drug-free, as well as several others. The Earle C. Clements Job Corps Academy offers both residential and non-residential programs. The young adult will advance through several phases of the program, to include:

Career Preparation
This period focuses on the assimilation of the student to Job Corps academic assessment, health screening, career exploration, and instruction on career planning.

Career Development
This period is where the student receives all career and technical training, academic instruction, employability and social skills development, and driver's education.

Career Transition
The period is preceded by a focus on transition readiness, and is the phase of services that immediately follows a student after they leave Job Corps. Career Transition Specialists assist with job placement or searches, and provide support and referrals for housing, transportation, and other essential components of living needed by the former student to obtain and retain employment. Job Corps graduates either enter the workforce or an apprenticeship, go on to higher education, or join the military.

The Earle C. Clements Job Corps Academy is located in Morganfield, Kentucky and is currently situated on approximately 700 acres of land, with approximately 90 buildings on center. The center is contracted to house 1022 students, with 14 dormitories for residential students. The center offers full wraparound services to ensure the needs of students are met, to include a student bank, post office, and wellness services, as well as counseling services.
