At various times, we do offer spay and neuter vouchers at Union County Animal Control.  These vouchers are grant based and funding is limited.  All three veterinary clinics in Union County participate in the voucher program, including  The Animal Clinic, Stone Veterinary Clinic and Union County Animal Clinic.

What Is Required To Obtain A Voucher?

• Proof of income
• $25.00 copay
• Union County residency

Additionally, other requirements such as current county dog tag and rabies vaccination may be required.

If you find an animal during normal business hours, please call Animal Control at (270) 389-3000.

If it is after normal business hours or a weekend, please try to safely contain the animal until we are open.  Reach out to us via Facebook or email with information on the found animal. 

IF the animal is sick, injured or in danger, please call non-emergency dispatch at (270) 389-4357.

All lost and stray animals MUST go to the animal control facility in the county in which they were found. The animal control facilities job is to help reach out to the potential owner of that animal during the duration of their stray hold.

Union County Animal Control offers both dogs and cats for adoption.  Most pets have a $90 adoption fee plus tax and includes the following:

• Rabies Vaccine
• Flea and Tick Treatment
• Dewormer
• Spay/Neuter Surgery
• Union County Dog License
