Highland Creek – A stream in Union County, Highland Creek has an elevation of 341 feet and is well situated for leisure level paddling.

Lake Mauzy – Lake Mauzy, an approximately 80-acre lake, is part of the Higginson-Henry Wildlife Management Area and maintained by the Kentucky Department of Wildlife Management. This quiet, serene area is surrounded by wooded areas and provides a boat dock for easy access to the water for kayaks, canoes and boats with motors under 10 hp.

Moffit Lake – Moffit Lake Recreational Area is a 140-acre campground which lies in a beautiful natural setting. The 64-acre lake is the heart of the campground and easily accessed from the handicap accessible boat ramp and dock. Pedal boats and kayaks are available for rent.

The Tradewater River – As a tributary of the Ohio River, the Tradewater River flows from Hopkinsville to Sturgis, Kentucky and access if available at several points throughout its 136-mile length. While the Tradewater River may not be swift, it’s the perfect river to float on a lazy summer day.
