The County Sheriff’s Office has delinquent tax bill listings until April 15th of each year, at which time all delinquent tax bills are turned over to the County Clerk.

An annual delinquent tax sale is typically held in September of the year after taxes are due. The next sale date for unpaid 2023 property taxes will be September 17, 2024. This website will be updated approximately one month prior to the sale.

All third party purchasers MUST complete and submit the 2024 Union County Clerk Certificate of Delinquency Sale Registration form.

All third party purchasers who meet the following conditions must register with the Department of Revenue:

• You plan to purchase more than three certificates of delinquency in a county;
• You plan to purchase more than five certificates of delinquency statewide; or
• You plan to invest more than $10,000 in certificates of delinquency
