Nestled in Western Kentucky, Moffit Lake Recreational Area is a 140-acre county owned and operated campground which lies in a beautiful natural setting. The 64-acre lake is the heart of the campground that provides the park with pristine waterfront campsites and cabin rentals. Moffit Lake is stocked with a selection of catfish, bass, redear, bluegill and crappie to satisfy any angler. Boats of any size with an electric motor are welcome and can access the water from our handicap accessible boat ramps and dock.

We are located within 20 miles of over 20,000 acres of public wildlife management areas that offer hunting, hiking and horseback riding. We are just 10 miles southeast of Morganfield, which has shopping centers and several restaurants, and 11 miles from Sturgis – home of the Kentucky Bike Rally and the Union County Fair.

Daily visitors can access the campground free of charge for picnicking, hiking, biking, or just driving around. The Moffit Lake Store & Bait Shop offers a selection of drinks, snacks, fishing bait and tackle, and camping essentials.
