The Union County Planning Commission is tasked with the responsibility of assigning all new 911 addresses within the county. The address assigned may then be given to the respective post office to be put into their system and may differ from your mailing address. The 911 is a physical address that assures that everyone in the county will have a proper address so that emergency services may access your home or business. Of note, addresses are assigned to a structure and not an empty lot.
